| 13.09.2009: In Subcarpathian Rus was held
the first tournament on extreme golf “Rusinsky pishnik”. To celebrate one of the most important events in the history
of the Ruthenian state - the 90th anniversary of Saint-Germain
peace treaty - in the picturesque Carpathian meadows was carried
out first in the history of the Subcarpathian Rus golf tournament
“Rusinsky pishnik“ (Ruthenian pathway).
It was held according to the rules of extreme golf at nine holes
on a par 36 course. As in the historical homeland of golf Scotland
two centuries ago, participants competed not in a neat and well-groomed
golf course, surrounded by beautiful ladies, but in the military
field conditions - rugged terrain in the mountains, in the tall
grass among the rocks and ditches. As usual in such cases, there
were irrevocably lost more than 30 balls, and successfully broken
2 clubs.
One of the main organizers, the founder of Czech golf club "Subcarpathian
Rus” A.V. Gegalchyj has become the record-holder of the tournament.
He played nine cup with a score of 46.
The first drive:
 As his experience
and handicap were incomparable with those of other participants,
he did not participate in the main tournament. Entrepreneur
of
Tyachiv region Vasily Stan became the first winner of the first
extreme golf tournament “Rusinsky pishnik”. His result is +19
over par.

Participants
are confident that their innovation “Rusinsky pishnik” will
establish a new kind of sport tourism
in the Subcarpathian
Rus. For the next tournament, it is expected to invite opponents
from Galicia and from Kiev.
But the tournaments prize may be more:

At the end of the tournament, the participants
climbed to the “Apetskaja” tableland.
