MIHAI GIMPU: THE UNFORTUNATE EURO-INTEGRATION STRATEGIST. “Scientists and politicians in the West are unanimous that the 20th century is the Century of Nationalism. The Phenomenon of Nationalism is extremely diverse, and this phenomenon simultaneously acts at in many forms – simultaneously as liberation movement, national ideology and an ethnopsychological phenomenon. The Nationalism is simultaneously and the political movement aspiring to a gain or containing of the political power, and the policy justifying such actions by means of the propaganda of a priority of interests and values of the Nation. We admits that the Nationalism is not only ideas and the policy corresponding to them, but also the system of orientations and feelings. Therefore real circumstances, events and so their perception – i.e. experiences of people can be a source which form it. Many modern scientists stress the many-sided nature and ambiguity of Nationalism, its properties and relations, don't aspire to reduce its essence only to ethnocentrism, racism, etc. and to consider it as unequivocally negative phenomenon. Nationalism in this or other form becomes frequent ideology of national movements which defend the interests unfairly and illegally discriminated peoples. The Ruthenian national movement is defending today absolutely well-founded rights and interests of the Ruthenian people, because the Subcarpathian Rus during long time has undergone of discrimination and an ethnocide. Because of that it is so necessary to consider ambiguous experience of national movements and national leaders of other countries. And first of all for this purpose, what successfully to achieve the purposes of the Ruthenian national movement, without repeating mistakes of some of the Post-Soviet politicians who have come into the politics with the support of National Movements of 1990th years…”Tags: Read more...
Somersaults of Ukrainian justice.(en) Alexander Rusyn I All legalists are aware that the facts of legal significance could be obtained through testimony of the parties, third parties, their representatives questioned as witnesses, the testimony of witnesses, written (real) evidence, expert opinions, on condition that the said evidence was obtained without violation of the procedure established by law. At the trial, not all the facts of legal significance could be regarded as evidence, but only those that are directly defined in the law. Certain pre-statutory restriction in the use of evidence in resolving specific disputes in the law practice has traditionally been understood as the credibility of evidence. In this regard, there follows logical question: "Is there any mention in the law of obtaining evidence through the network, using the IP-telephony? Tags:
Does Ruthenians are separatists?
At the end of World War I, when the international community recognized the right of nations (or ethnic groups) to self-determination, Ruthenians to the south of the Carpathians (along with other enslaved peoples of Europe), having officially received such a right, became a subject of international law. At that time, Ruthenians, exercising their right to self-determination, on a voluntary basis acceded to the newly formed Czechoslovakia with special status. Tags:
The action of Lvov deputies could signify the beginning of separation of Galicia from Ukraine(en) Petr Getsko I
The question of separation of Galicia is a question of time. At least the first signs of this are obvious: 1.On the 10th of May in Lvov took place an extraordinary event for all time of existence of post-Soviet Ukraine. The head of Lvov Regional State Administration (RSA), Michael Cymbalyuk made a statement of resignation, and did so during a "conversation" with the deputies of regional and city councils from All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda", with regard to the known events in Lvov on May 9. The meaning of the event and its assessment is determined by exceptional circumstances, when the deputies of local Councils of the neo-Nazi party "Svoboda" actually forced their appointed president Cymbalyuk to accept the resignation, using the power of "persuasion", bypassing all the legal procedures, through the imposition of two-thirds no-confidence vote of regional council. ANNIVERSARY OF THE GREAT VICTORY
ANNIVERSARY OF THE GREAT VICTORY: NOT SMART REFLECTIONS AGAINST MODERN POLITICAL DEBATES. Today the whole world celebrates the 65th anniversary of end of the Second World War. The destiny of Georgia from the moment of finding by the independence of country is difficult and dramatic. Political splits, the civil war of the 1991-1992 which have ended with the death of first president Zviad Gamsakhurdia. Dramatical opposition with the territorial autonomies came to the end with war of 1992-1993 in Abkhazia and catastrophic war of 2008 year with Russia, which has led to loss of territories. On this background took place a corruption scandals, struggle of the government against opposition (with variable success), splits in Georgian elite, death of top politicians, ambiguous results of social, economic and administrative reforms. STATUS OF A SUBJECT OF INTERNATIONAL LAW FOR THE RUTHENIAN PEOPLE - NEW VISION
The question of granting Ruthenian people the status of subject of international law is long overdue. Given that Ruthenians have no maternal state, this issue has taken on special urgency. Movements (conflicts) to change the status often take place peacefully, when none of the parties declares its intention to use physical violence. There is no reason to focus exclusively on military insurrection, as the main script for the third phase, there is no reason to believe that the Subcarpathian region is very close to the third phase. Digest of blog Petr Getsko Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Subcarpathian Ruthenia. 10. 2010 – 02. 2011
Decree of the Supreme Council of the USSR from 22 January 1946 since its publication, appears legally null and void. FOREIGN-POLICY STRATEGY IN POST-SOVIET STATES: A PROBLEM OF CHOICE
The question of foreign-policy strategy choice in post-Soviet countries is a problem of today. In Kyrgyz political expert Alexander Knyazev’s fair opinion some CIS countries seek to follow a multiple-vector strategy which transforms in an unprincipled bidding. The example of a great number of states approves this conclusion. NATO's central objective is reinforcing of its positions in the post-Soviet territories, propaganda of "American and European values," introduction of ideas of Western civilization superiority, necessity and inevitability of main CIS countries integration in the Euro-Atlantic Community". POLITICAL WISDOM AGAINST DOGMATISM OF IDEOLOGY
Rusins, protecting their rights to identity and political choice, face a problem, general for many people today. It is necessary to recognize, that problems of national consciousness traditionally are considered sharp and provoke many political conflicts and crises. And actual situation in Moldova confirms the split in the direction of the “sovereignty preservation" and the "progressing absorption of Romania". |
